"There is a deep wisdom within our very flesh if we can only come to our senses and feel it.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that is gaining recognition for its health benefits. These benefits may include alleviating anxiety and depression, managing pain, and reducing fatigue, among others. As a noninvasive complementary therapy, Reiki is meant to enhance, not replace, traditional medical advice or treatment. Reiki operates through the transfer of universal energy, embodying the purest form of love. Sessions typically last between 60 to 90 and can be conducted in person, with the practitioner transferring energy through their hands to the client. Additionally, sessions can be performed remotely, as the practitioner connects with the client's higher self and meditates, sending energy across time and space.
Energy healing is based on the idea that an invisible "life force energy" sust our well-being. When this energy is low, we become more prone to illness and stress; when abundant we thrive in health and happiness. Usui Reiki, introduced by Mikao Usui in 1922, is a powerful form of healing, with roots believed to trace back ,500 years in Tibet and India. Reiki, meaning "spiritually guided life force energy," promotes relaxation, emotional release, and healing by enhancing energy flow and addressing blockages in the body. The practice emphasizes self-improvement and the integration of its five principles into daily life, fostering peace and well-being.
